'My Grandmother' (Descriptive Piece)

My grandmother is an old lady who loves to play a beautiful white grand piano. She has been playing for 60 long years. One hot day during the summer my grandmother went to an old, cracked up building to play a piano that I quote, 'has the best, beautiful, YAHAMA brand, midnight back, grand piano in the world!' My mother and I had told her that no one trusted that old building and I could fall apart at any second. Of course, knowing how stubborn my lil ol' grandmother is we knew that she wouldn't listen to our very smart advice, and of course she didn't. So she was off to the old, cracked up building.

At about a quarter til' 2 my young and attractive mother told me to pick up my grandmother from the abandoned building. So I was off to the building myself! I knew that place by heart, because when I was of the age of 10 my grandmother would take me there just to teach me a few beautiful chords...but that was of course back when it was safe to go there. So I walked inside walking towards the room with the gorgeous piano my grandmother plays and when I looked inside she wasn't there! I was super surprised. For 5 minutes I yelled her name and searched that place til I heard the very peculiar noise, it sounded as if someone was making out my name. Stopped in my steps frozen of terror. I turn around just to see no one there! I scream and run out, and down the hall. I run to the only place in that building where I feel safe, the grand piano room. Its very dark in there and all of a sudden the door shuts close. By this point you could guess what I'm doing. I'm screaming as if I'm a little baby whose pacifier just got taken out of my mouth, oh wait maybe not THAT way! Lol! I continue screaming until I felt this warm, soft, hand against my face and then I see my grandmother. She says, 'darling dont cry, I was trying to get your attention down the hall and then you screamed like a little baby! I walked after into my playing room and closed the door so that you couldn't run out, as you know I'm not getting any younger and chasing you isn't that easy!' All I could do at that moment was smile at her and thank the Lord for giving me someone that cares for me. Then we drove home happy.
